We are sad to announce that the Back to School Bash & Open House event planned for this Saturday has been canceled, due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in our community.

The good news is Galveston County Health District and Coastal Health & Wellness will host a drive-thru school supply event Saturday, 8-10 a.m., or while supplies last, at 9850 Emmett F. Lowry Expy. in Texas City.

We were so looking forward to hosting the bash and open house, but our focus, as always, is to keep residents healthy and safe.

You can help out with our community school supply drive. Just drop off your donation by 4 p.m. Aug. 13 at one of the following locations:
